FROM OUR FAMILY…

    Greetings to you and your family!

"Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He will do it."(Psalm 37:4-5)

Praise the Lord... the newest member of the Thrash Family has arrived!
With great joy we received the blessing that the Lord saw fit to give us... our fourth child.

Ian Michael was born on January 27, 2005. He weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and measured 19.5 inches at birth.

Ian means "God has been gracious" A couple of weeks ago, we were pleased and encouraged to learn that Ian means "God has been gracious". The Lord has been gracious indeed! The Lord has been working in our hearts and growing us in the areas of contentment and joy. Over the past seven months, our family has embraced stressful situations that in the past would have caused much tension. What a blessing it is to see our Heavenly Father continually grow us in our interactions with one another.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)

We are all enjoying our new baby! It is such a joy to see each of our children race to see their baby brother when he wakes up. They take turns holding Ian, and they especially enjoy "talking" with him.
